BT sport and Sky

We have cancelled our sky tv package in an effort to cut costs. We also wanted to cancel our BT sports, unfortunately we did not realise neither was it made clear at the time of renewal, that this is on a 24 month contract which is not up till Nov 23. To make matters worse, we have now been told that as soon as Sky is cancelled it will automatically cancel our BT sport as we watch it through our Sky box. So we can’t cancel BT sport without paying out the contract, we can no longer watch it and BT will automatically cancel BT Sport and will charge us the cancellation fee on the contract even though this is due to the fact that they don’t provide the box for us to be able to watch it!

it seems absolutely ridiculous that they can charge us for this when they are the ones cancelling the contract AND that they can provide a service that is linked to a completely unrelated other service like this

not sure what to do? Any advise?

Will BT allow you to see the contract out by watching on the BT Sports app ? Just a thought.
