Spare parts for garden shredder?
I've got a Gardenline PGS2800 garden shredder which is in perfect working order. One of the plastic wheels has just sheared off the axle, and it has no way of being attached again.
As said, it's a fine working tool, and there's no need to ditch it but it is difficult to manoeuvre around without the wheel.
Where do people get their spare parts from? Does anyone have any links to spare part companies? I've tried the original sellers, to no avail.
TIA

It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....

You might get help from a local community repair cafe or they could point you to someone. But there are also some spares shops on-line that cover GardenlineFor example: https://www.espares.co.uk/browse/ma3435/gardenline

Is that an Aldi one ? if so have you tried to contact Aldi either via their website or twitter and they might be able to source one for you.

I wouldn't go looking for a specific spare part for that exact machine, but instead look for a pair of suitable wheels that could be bolted on, or even just a set of large casters from B&Q.1

EBay is good for this sort of stuff. I put in ‘garden shredder wheel’ and some secondhand bits came up. Would these fit maybe? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175355699960?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rmwW3ti0TqW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=bm3GNDcwRm6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY1

Yes it is. Aldi have pointed me in the direction of their spare parts website but they don’t go back as far as 2010 products.cheekyweegit said:Is that an Aldi one ? if so have you tried to contact Aldi either via their website or twitter and they might be able to source one for you. It'll be alright in the end. Yes, that was my line of thinking too. Heading to local garden shop tomorrow to check out options. Thanks again.Apodemus said:I wouldn't go looking for a specific spare part for that exact machine, but instead look for a pair of suitable wheels that could be bolted on, or even just a set of large casters from B&Q.It'll be alright in the end.
