  • @Casius1510 do tell HOW the car was ordered as that makes a lot of difference as to your options regarding the car.

The finance issue is as @MrFrugalFever has advised above.

Is there actually a fault with the car?
Or is the extent of the OP's gripes down to a grumpy sales person?
    Or is it buyer's remorse?

That rules out what fat controller was possibly hinting at. No distance sale has taken place here.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

OP, you need to decide what remedy you actually want here. There's a big gap between wanting to return the car and cancel the finance, or just getting a free service.
As has been pointed out, if you return the car then you will incur a huge hit on depreciation. It's now a second hand vehicle and will have dropped at least 10% in value.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • would look at the cost of the gap insurance if you keep the car and this may be able to be cancelled and replaced with your own, dealers historically charge 299-499 for this, there are reputable companies offer this much more competitively priced.

if the docs were esigned it could be classed as a distance sale and protected but I would take advice on that aspect.  as above you need to decide what you want to do and the required resolution.

if a sales person is pushy or tries to be pushy with me I just walk away
  • From what I can see the agreements were made in the showroom with the salesperson.

I did it exactly the same way and the documents were emailed to me and digitally signed from the comfort of my living room.

@Casius1510 exactly what resolution are you looking for ?

The customer has visited the showroom, no distance sale is applicable here regardless of how the finance has been signed.

    Sounds like an amicable resolution
