• This Competition is open to persons aged 18 years or over who are UK or Irish residents only. Proof of age and identity may be required. Entry to the Competition is free.
• The Promoter is Attheraces Limited, a company incorporated in England with company number 03896585, whose principal place of business is at Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP.
• Employees of the Promoter, Racingbreaks.com Limited (“Racing Breaks”) and their groups of companies are not eligible to enter the Competition.
• Only one (1) entry per Competition is allowed per person and no more than four (4) entries per household. If the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe that multiple entries have been made by the same person, all entries by such entrant will be disqualified from participating in the Competition or receiving any prize.
• Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Competition. These Terms and Conditions will apply for the duration of the Competition.
• The Promoter will use each entrant’s personal details for the purpose of administering this Competition and will make the prize winner’s details available to Racing Breaks for the fulfilment of the prize.
• To take part in the Competition, an entrant must answer the Competition question correctly and submit their name and email address between 12:00 BST Monday, 1st August 2022 and 23:00 BST Sunday, 28th August 2022.
• The Competition prize winner will be determined at random from the correct entries.
• The lucky prize winner will receive two Winning Post tickets to Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe at ParisLongchamp Racecourse on Saturday 1st October 2022 and Sunday 2nd October 2022. The prize consists of return flights from UK/Ireland or Eurostar tickets from the UK to Paris. The accommodation (bed and breakfast) will be at the 4* Le Meridien Etoile (“Hotel”), with check-in on the evening of Friday, 30th September 2022 and check-out on Sunday 2nd October 2022. A complimentary transfer between ParisLongchamp Racecourse and the Hotel is included in the prize on both racedays. The prize winner and guest will also receive an exclusive invite to the Racing Breaks drinks evening with Frankie Dettori.
• The prize does not include domestic UK (or Ireland/UK, UK/Ireland) transfers, travel insurance, spending monies, incidental costs (such as additional meals, telephone calls, mini bar items, laundry etc) other than those stated, or Local Tourist Tax which must be paid locally by the prize winner.
• The prize winner is responsible for their and his/her travel companion having valid passports/visas/fit to fly/Covid documentation. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any visas granted incorrectly or refused admission to France. We strongly recommend that you check UK/Irish government advice and check details in your entry permits/visas against your passports and personal information prior to departure.
• The prize winner will be notified by email by the Promoter and given details of how to claim his/her prize. If a prize winner does not respond within 5 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited. The winner, whose prize has been forfeited, is not entitled to payment or compensation of any kind. It is each entrant’s sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date. Any public announcement (including on the Promoter’s platforms (TV, online etc.)) will be pending verification unless otherwise stated and should not be considered final confirmation.
• There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-endorsable. The prize winner and the winner’s travel companion must travel together, and all components of the prize must be taken together.
• The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The Promoter further reserves the right at its discretion to substitute the prize with another prize in the event the original prize offered is not available but shall be under no obligation to do so. The decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Entry into the Competition constitutes permission for the Promoter to use the names and photographs of participants for publicity purposes at their discretion. The prize winner may be required to participate in such publicity without further compensation as the Promoter reasonably requires.
• The Promoter shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected messages, unavailable network connections, failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software or other communications failures or circumstances affecting receipt or entrants ability to participate in the Competition or if any event applicable to the Competition is cancelled for any reason or any circumstances affecting a prize winner’s ability to access or use their prize. The Promoter is also not responsible for any act or default of any third party suppliers, Racing Breaks or for any reasons of Force Majeure.*
• Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives (nor the directors, employees or other representatives of its agents, sub-contractors or group companies) will be liable for damages, in contract, tort or otherwise including negligence, arising out of or in connection with the Competition and/or the provision of the prize.
• The prize winner and his/her/their prize companion must comply with the Terms and Conditions of Racing Breaks when booking the holiday prize (please see https://www.racingbreaks.com/terms-and-conditions). The prize winner and his/her/their prize companions must also comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements required by the country and the venues hosting the prize, including but not limited to complying with public health protocols.
• The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding on all entrants in relation to all aspects of the Competition including (without limitation) allocation of the prize and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with the Competition’s rules or Terms and Conditions will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive a prize.
• The Competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

(*Force Majeure" means: a fire, flood, lightning, storm, earthquake or other similar geological or metrological event or condition or Act of God, national emergency, disease, epidemic, pandemic, war, act of terrorism, riot or criminal act or damage, strike, lockout or other industrial action or any other event beyond the control of the Promoter, Racing Breaks and their group companies). 

• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Competition. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and his/her travel companion) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by Racing Breaks in its/their absolute discretion.
