Afternoon folks - better late than never I suppose! More laptop problems this morning when everything went haywire and wouldn't let me play! I don't know what I have done to restore everything but, for now, I am back in business again!
I don't seem to have achieved much this morning I've been too busy tearing my hair out with technology! But I have made a supply of Tomato & Basil soup to accompany my lunches for the next few days and, apart from changing the litter tray and emptying the bin, I haven't done much else! I did think I might get out in the back garden a bit but there is a blooming gale force wind blowing out there!
Yesterday didn't go to plan either. My BFF had to cancel our lunch as she had been clobbered with one of the chemo side effects (the deadly runs) but I did get to the vet and Sparkle had the usual injection - £23 for the jab and £50 for the consultation fee!! It' scandalous, especially as we weren't in there for more than 5 minutes!! So that's it for another month (a bit longer would be a bonus) Sparkle then spent the rest of the day looking a bit morose and kept out of my way in case I took her back again! Later I had a sad call from my friend with the poorly doggy. She had got the call from the vet with the biopsy result and the tumour they removed is confirmed as malignant and aggressive. Needless to say she is very upset as the prognosis isn't good so for now keeping doggy comfortable is all they can do. I was upset for her as she's a much loved dog. Yesterday didn't turn out a very nice day all round.
I will have missed Dp1 now I think but just in case I was so sorry to read the update on her little DGD. Poor little mite she has already gone through so much. COXY I was pleased to read the problem of the fuel payment had resolved itself. I would have had to go back too if it hadn't. I would have felt bad about ignoring it. Oh and well done to your DS. My eldest DGD (18 next week!) has been learning to drive and has her theory next Monday but has been warned her actual test won't be any time soon there is such a backlog round here.
Have a good rest of the day folks and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies and fed ups. NELS I am pleased you are getting a bit of help from DM's neighbour, that's good of her. GERS enjoy your little breakaway. Take care all and be safe xx
