Direct Line Group Home Insurance - Fifteen years of misery on an open insurance claim

In July 2007 my stone-built house flooded during the rainstorms. My insurer was UKI, part of Direct Line Group.
The house was took until summer 2008 to be reinstated. These reinstatement works failed almost immediately and I had to go through FOS to get DLG to do anything. FOS found in my favour and reinstatement works began again.
These failed. Between 2013 and 2019 I was constantly in touch with builders and surveyors as nothing corrected the constant failing of the plasterwork and rotting of skirting boards.
In 2019 it was decided to take everything back to stone, dry out properly (apparently nothing dried out properly the first time) and reinstate. This has now been going on for over three years (with two render and plaster finishes applied during this time. I still have plaster falling off my walls and the claim is far from finished.
I put in a complaint in April 2020 and have never had any response. The costs I have incurred are off the scale.
Does anyone have a route to the top, as I cannot afford to take this company to court?

If you've not had a response to your complain after more than two years, it's probably safe to assume it got waylaid.
I would send it again.
