Marcus - When Interest Paid ?

Hi,

Does anyone know when interest for the month is normally added to the Marcus account ?

I believe it is on the 1st month for us, but a family member hasn't had their interest added on today (yet) and wondered what time of day it normally goes in.

Assuming that you're talking about the Instant Access account, it's paid a month after you make your first investment.  Mine is always paid on the 9th.  In practice, it only appears in my account on the 10th, but is backdated to the previous day.

Thank you - Yes, it is normally the 1st of a month for my grandmother, which would be today, but nothing showing yet - I can't remember what time of day it would normally go in.

Yes it is today, I just looked and mine is not added yet either

Just wait until tomorrow and see if you still have a problem.  In  my experience the interest turns up the day after its credited. Just a paper exercise.

From memory it’s paid a month after you opened the account.

I opened up my account on the 20th of January some years back and that’s when my interest is paid on the 20th of each month, no problem

OK i just looked and i opened and paid into mine on 1st of the month in 2019, so yes its the day opened./paid into
