Paypal - withdrawing from my account balance

I've been with paypal for yonks (years). In the last 2 weeks was the first time I used them to bill a total stranger for a minor car bump. The Third Party paid to my paypal account and Paypal charged a £9 fee for a £300 transaction - thought it was free?
So I have £291 sitting in my paypal account which the Paypal system seems unwilling or unable to transfer to my credit card.
The message on the app just says "we can't complete this for you at the moment. Please try again in a few minutes. If the issue persists, please let us know."
I've tried repeatedly over the last 2 days and just get the same message. I've tried using the messaging service which is not intelligent enough to handle this type of compliant as it just wants to send me down particular subject routes and answers that don't fit. I've tried Facebook (private messaging) and opted to Chat with Agent, but nothing happened.
I would be grateful for any suggestions as to how I can get this resolved. I am having my car fixed, but at the moment I will be funding the repairs myself it looks like!! Thanks all.

Paypal's Help Centre says:
Can I withdraw money from my PayPal balance to my card?Yes. You can transfer money to any eligible debit card but not to a credit card. Eligible debit cards that support this transfer will be shown to you in the "Instant" section on your transfer money page.
Note: If you don't see your debit card listed, this means that card isn't eligible for instant transfer. Instead, you can withdraw money to your UK bank account.2 -
Many thanks for that. The app gives no clue that the withdrawl to Credit Card was the issue.
There is an option to add Bank account, but it says charges will apply.
The message centre have replied to me requesting screenshot of the transaction ID. Almost funny, but my phone says the PayPal App doesn't allow screenshots to be taken. At least they have communicated back.

Alderbank, I am pleased to advise that having taken your advice and added my bank account, I have now been able to withdraw monies. Contrary to what PayPal state above, my Credit card was also showing in the "Instant" section, which is why I kept pursuing withdraw via that.
Really appreciate your help Alderbank.
PayPal, if your system doesn't allow payments to Credit Card then the system shouldn't be able to show them as a viable Instant option.0 -
Apologies should have directed thanks to MattMattMattUK. I'm a Newbie, as you can tell!0
