I couldn't join Prolific when I tried earlier this year. I feel like I am missing out! I only do surveys on Qmee and it's....annoying!! Would value some suggestions for better survey sites if anyone has any golden nuggets!!Shineyhappy said:There are some great figures and it’s only the 2nd 😊
I had a win on the Premium Bonds so I’m off to a great start there with £100 and £15.59 withdrawn from Prolific.
I will officially count Swagbucks when I add the gift certificates
That's a nice little win on the ole Premium Bonds though eh!!1 -
I am totally WINNING at life today!! Well, by my standards anyway

I got a free Gusto box including delivery for when my daughter is on her holidays with another nan later this month and did a little mystery shop from the comfort of my own home.
So I'm now on £104.49/£310 but more importantly, I don't have to think about what to cook for a week - which is the bain of my life!November 2023

To be honest there are definitely more lucrative ways of getting rid of clothes, but it's good for stuff that doesn't have much resale value on its own (blank T-shirts for instance) and also gets them out of the house pretty sharp! Ebay is always preferred if you don't mind waiting.CMD79 said:
Good start!! I hadn't thought of those cash for clothes - does it work out okay versus ebaying or whatever? I guess it depends what the clothes are.redlaces said:Well I've started August well with a little £2.24 from TopCashback, not loads but better than nowt! That's gone straight off my big C/C, whose 0% expires soonest.
I've also filed two small Medicash claims and got some pending cash on Prolific, so building up my August pipeline. OH also gave me a shirt yesterday that no longer fits, so I will use it to start a cash for clothes bag. Got an old football shirt that I need to resell too, they always hold their value
£2.24/£155, only £152.76 to go.. haha
Hope everyone has started August well!

@CMD79 the other site I do a fair bit on is Swagbucks but I have been doing the free games offers unless the surveys are particularly high paying.
I also do consumer pulse as well, but that can be hard to get on to.
I don’t know if there are any other good ones. I am still technically in you gov but it’s been awhile since I did that. Enjoy the gousto box and don’t forget to cancel!Debt Free - done

I sold an old laptop today for £70.00, I haven't been using it and it was very slow ( and somewhat dusty! 😅) so I'm pleased with the price I got. Looking in the window of the shop it looks as though laptops are holding their value quite well at the moment, wondered if it's because of the shortage of components?

That's good to know! I have one here I might look at selling then - I was thinking to give it to the Ukrainian lady we have staying, but I'm too poor to ignore that sort of money!Hummingbird0_12 said:I sold an old laptop today for £70.00, I haven't been using it and it was very slow ( and somewhat dusty! 😅) so I'm pleased with the price I got. £8 cashback from Topcashback today! I might yet start some surveys, but I can't be bothered today. I'm hungry and tired....but at least have added some mystery shops for next week.

Well done on those earnings @CMD79 I've got discouraged with surveys as I always seem to get screened out Grrrr😅
Hope you manage to get a good price on the laptop if you decide to sell it
I received a bill credit from EE today of £16.46 so will add that to total which is £86.46/£310.00Sealed Pot Challenge 2023 # 011
