Morning all. Today seems to be a rinse and repeat of yesterday - rain, rain and more rain! Not heavy downpours mind you that would be good for the gardens, just constant drizzle. Bring back the sun!
It's slothful Sunday so I shall be doing just the essentials unless a sudden burst of enthusiasm should visit - which is doubtful.I've raided the freezer and have a couple of pork steaks in the SC for tonight's dinner that we'll have with green beans and mash. I've also taken out some cooked chicken pieces for tomorrow's stir fry and a block of casserole steak that I'll cook tomorrow with onions and mushrooms for pie filling. Haven't had a meat pie for ages.
Wishing the Lionesses well today, although I won't be watching. I'm afraid sport leaves me cold and there seems to be so much of it on TV at the moment. I will however be watching the last episode of Murder in Provence, such a good programme. It's a shame they only made three for this series.
Happy Holidays to those going away (hope there are no travel delays, be it by road, rail or air). Take care one and all, hugs where needed or wanted. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.9 -

Hello everyone
Just popping in to wish Ruby a lovely holiday and NRA a happy retirement
Little one stayed last night so I was awake just after 6 - she was good though and cuddled in and watched her Ipad for half an hour.
We've been down to mam and dads this morning and have just had toasties for lunch while she watched The tiger who came to tea. DD will pick her up later, after her nap....I'll get a bit more sorted for my holiday.
My attention is needed - hope everything has a good day x8 -
Afternoon All
A bit showery here today, I put the washing out early but it seems to have had a couple of rinses.
Had a lovely catch up with Gers, although the Oyster Bar doesn't serve breakfast any more so we went to the garden centre next door instead.
Happy retirement NRA, must be a great feeling.
Hope you have a fabulous holiday Ruby.
When are your holidays Nanny and dp1?
DS2 and DP will be back here later after their weekend away, they will be going home again on Wednesday morning - it'll be an early start for all of us!
Happy Sunday, take care. XX7
