Can you have a joint and a solo?
    I have, so yes
Have you the joint and solo under the recent single account rule?

No idea. Got the solo one about 2 years back, then joint one about a year ago

I opened my sole account last year and my joint account in June, after the rule change.

I'm speculating:  Open the solo account first, then apply for the joint account in the name of the other party, with the solo account holder as the second-named.

VM's check for multiple account holders may be done only on the first-named and not on the second-named holder when applying for a joint account; if you set-up the joint account first, then VM may block both account holders when applying for the solo account.

I don't think the order is important.

Hi, I already have a personal M Plus account in only my name which I use on my phone with the app. I want to open another account but this time jointly with my wife. Can I use this as just an online account without using the app? If I can, can both accounts have the same phone number registered to them? Do they need different email addresses? Thanks.

My sole account and joint account are both visible when I login online and when I use the app.

All your accounts will have your mobile number and email address. I don’t follow why you are asking about different mobile numbers and email addresses.

I assume that if you open a joint account your wife will need to give her email address and mobile number.
