I signed up to Eharmony for a trial period and I forgot to cancel it, now they are demanding a year subscription. I can't afford to pay and also It will be a waste of money as I never use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

As above, if you haven't met the terms they offered for the trial period only, they are entitled to pursue you for what you agreed to in that event.
All you can do is try for a goodwill gesture or hope they don't pursue the debt.0 -
That is unfortunately what you signed up for, from the experiences of previous posters on here you have the choice to pay, or be taken to court where you will probably (almost certainly) lose.thomasparker430 said:I signed up to Eharmony for a trial period and I forgot to cancel it, now they are demanding a year subscription.
It appears to cost about £150 for the year. Do you mean you cannot afford to pay, or do not want to pay?thomasparker430 said:I can't afford to pay
If you have to pay for it you might as well use it, unless of course you found the love of your life in the trial period?thomasparker430 said:and also It will be a waste of money as I never use it.
Pay up, use it if still relevant, try the free versions of Tinder, Bumble and Hinge and don't pay for dating apps/websites.thomasparker430 said:Any help would be greatly appreciated2 -
Every time I do a free trial I cancel immediately. Even those free weeks on Amazon video channels!
Mostly they let you still use it til the end of the free period. My memory isn't good enough to allow me to rely on remembering!0
