UPVC window sill / architrave replacement?
Comments
-
From the looks of it, it doesn't even have to be 'corner', but just a flat strip of timber that fills the gap between the window frame and the architrave?

Exactly. It’s just a flat piece. I assumed it had a name and can be bought as a replacement part? It’s white covered rather than painted and I don’t think it’s wood so assumed some specific part of upvc window fitting?Bendy_House said:From the looks of it, it doesn't even have to be 'corner', but just a flat strip of timber that fills the gap between the window frame and the architrave?0 -
I just had another look and it's not totally square, the back edge slopes off a little. The longest edges are roughly 15cm by 12cm. I'm not sure what it's made of either.

Anyone know what this is called and where I get it?0 -
Well, you can get it at a window installers.
What it's called, I dunno. It's a PVC trim beading, roughly square, but with one bevelled edge. If you take a measurement along with that photo, they should be able to find you a piece, I'd have thought.

Buy locally so as to avoid steep shipping charges.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
