Looking for last minute flight to Hawaii

Hi

I would like to go to Hawaii in late February. I went last year and the flight cost £470 including taxes.

I am on a very tight budget this year and am more than willing to travel with 1 days notice.

How cheap can I get the flights if I leave it until the very very very last minute to book (I'm even willing to travel on the same day as I book it if it means it is cheaper) and where should I look.

Regards

Adrian

I can not answer your query but just somethig else to consider. Check out cheap flights to a suitable point in America (e.g. LA or LV) and then check American TAs for flight prices from there to hawaii (rather than booking totally in the UK).

What date range do you want to travel in Feb? How many nights?

Is there one person or two?

And is it Honolulu you want to fly in to?

Let me know and I'll have a look for you to see what cheaper options are available!

As a general rule leaving it to the last minute means top notch fares - they figure you are desperate to travel and will pay anything.

There are exceptions - but not many.

Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.
  • Don't leave it till the last minute! There are no charter flights to Hawaii (Although I wish there were!), Also, with Half term coming up in Feb prices are likely to rise fast as more seats will be booked.

Leaving it till the last minute only really works with bucket and spade type destinations, where flights have been chartered for package holidays. And then that is getting more rare now tour ops are cottoning onto the fact that lots of people are buying property abroad and very often need to get out there at short notice.
  • I can avoid half term as I have plenty of time off work and can choose to avoid half term.

I can go at the begining or middle of March if need be.

I might look at https://www.Hotwire.com a few days before. Does anyone know any other "name your price" websites?

Look at the guide for Betterbidding and Biddingfortravel links.

As others have said not sure if this is the best way to do this.
