Euro Car Parks

Please help. I have received a final demand from Euro Car Parks for £100 never had an initial demand. I took my wife shopping to return a parcel and as main road was busy dropped into a car park while my wife went to shops for about 20mins. I never left car and a few weeks later received this final demand. My question is ,is the enforceable and do I pay? I'm in Scotland. Spoke with an ex traffic warden and it s 80% ignore it. Was also advised not to contact them ( euro car parks )as if you do they pester you constantly. I know if you are on street in car at a meter you can't be booked. Thanks in advance.

Search the forum and read the advice on recent threads about Scotland. You will learn so much more from what's already been said on twenty recent threads, than on this single one.
On a wider note you should have stayed on-street. Never seek out a car park when waiting for someone to board or alight. You could not have got a PCN.
On an even wider note, things are changing next year in Scotland regarding enforceability and appeals. You will get 'keeper liability' and proper independent appeals. But it doesn't apply retrospectively and you will learn about that from your reading of other Scottish threads over the weekend.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
