Advice on Eon Renewal Options

Hello all.im hoping for a bit of advice as I’ve never really understood energy bills/tariffs. We are with Eon now, fixed in til Sept 22 and pay around £155 a month. I have a friend who works for utility warehouse (who’s I’ve always been cautious of using) and he has said I should switch to them. First though I contacted Eon to see what options we’ll have come September. Below is a screenshot of their reply but I just don’t know the main differences. Can people tell which they’d choose and why please?! We are a family of 3, soon to be 4 in a 4 bed house. Thank you!

Beware that Next Online v17 has been around a week or so now and might well be pulled at any time. They have another more expensive tariff series called Next 1 Year, and that one changed overnight from v16 to v17, which shows a considerable hike. When one moves, the other usually follows within a day or two.
I'll leave others to comment on UW!1 -
I was just checking the current UW tariff details. I don't get a fixed tariff offered any longer, no matter if I take additional services or not, Only their SVT is offered to me.1

When you say beware - do you mean that we should possibly get onto the tariff asap? I presume when you are signed to it they have to honour that.spot1034 said:Beware that Next Online v17 has been around a week or so now and might well be pulled at any time. It may be the right time to jump to Next Online v17 even though it's a big increase. Next Flex is forecast to increase by 60% on 1 October. I was on Next Flex and decided to jump onto Next Online v15 on 2 July and suck up approx £117 oncost for July-September in the knowledge I was then fixed until 1 July 2023.

If you think you might be interested in it, yes, get on it. You have 14 days to change your mind but if you delay you risk missing the boat. These tariffs are changing pretty fast at the moment, and as I said that one has been on offer a week or so now, maybe even a bit longer.devonian20 said:

If possible, make sure it doesn't start until your present deal expires.0 -
