We got this one recently

Absolutely huge 10kg drum, great for our family of 5. I worked out it should completely pay for itself after 5 months compared to our old condensor one. It will actually be a lot less than that after the october price increase.

Never had a dryer and never will but for anyone that uses one can I recommend a second spin of your wash before you dry it, makes an amazing difference."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "2

I usually do a second spin if I'm drying on the airer inside during the colder/wetter months. I only have one small window in the room the horse stands in, and that doesn't open fully either, so that extra spin makes all the difference. No mold or damp walls so far after nine years anyway!sammyjammy said:Never had a dryer and never will but for anyone that uses one can I recommend a second spin of your wash before you dry it, makes an amazing difference.0 -
Who needs a tumble dryer when you have a greenhouse with a washing line rigged up inside?0

Not sure you have your sums right there but glad you like your purchase👍Twice a day using the old tumble drier which had a small capacity, we are a family of 5 Just over 3kw saving per load.. Until recently we both worked for the NHS so lots of uniform washing.1 -
I said I would report back on my "dryer balls" and if they do actually cut down the drying time as claimed. Previously had said it seemed faster but I wanted proof.
I used exactly the same wash load, king-sized bedding, washed on the same programme.
With dryer balls took 36 minutes. Without dryer balls took 48 minutes.
So a perfect 25% saving, the manufacturer (Ecoegg) claimed up to 28% so not bad.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Solar PV 5.25kWp SW facing (14 x 375) installed Mar 22
