Hi guys, so I'm coming towards the end of my fixed dual fuel tariff with eonnext at the end of August and have recently recieved my renewal quote through.
I really don't know what option to take. If I go on to the flex (variable) they're saying £1147 for electricity £803 for gas but obviously going to go up in October or the fixed is next online v17 which is £1959 for electricity £1338.
I've heard come October and then again in January variable prices are going to go through the roof, can anyone advice me on my best option please? I knew things were going to get bad but I haven't a clue how we're going to cope with this rise, partner will be on maternity leave from September too so we'll be using gas and electricity loads.

The figures you are quoted have no real meaning at all, you said yourself that your energy consumption will increase due to a new baby.
What Unit rates have been offered to you, and what was your usage for the last 12 months?
Also will Eon let you continue with your current fix and only start the new fix thereafter, but give you todays rates?0
