Another should I fix question -EDF £150 cashback
Here is a screen shot of the offer with £150 cash back from EDF. Can I ask what happens to the government payment of £400 ? Will this reduce my payment down the line?
thank you

Is this a quote from this morning?
The unit rates look very good compared to the 8th July prediction, even better to the bad news from yesterdays prediction.
If you consider it, you should enquire with them if you have a cool off period (you should) and if so take the tariff as long as it is available and than start thinking if you want it. It is very likely it will go very soon.
Nobody knows how the the £400 will work, most common thought is that from October you will get for 6 month a £66.67 credit to you account.1 -

It was there 5 minutes ago and gone too from my account.0

This was to be expected after yesterdays headlines, and happened every single time there was an increase to the predicted cap.
At the moment you need to be fast if a reasonable tariff is offered. Take it and than consider in the 2 weeks you have to consider the deal.0 -
Oh well, back to the drawing board for me then 😂I love a bargain and saving money! I don't have any debts and mortgage repaid in 20200

After dithering for a while, I’ve opted to switch to the Green Energy fix - before that one goes as well .
Application accepted so now in 14 day cooling off period1 -
I don’t see any green fix on mine - just a total long term fix and total with boiler cover .
