Hi, I have built my website using Wix, bought the domain & pay them for hosting it. But is there a cheaper alternative for someone who isnt that technical! many thanks

What do you need on your website? Is it for ecommerce, for example? And what are you paying Wix?0

Wix is easy for non-technical to use and set up a site but their fees are relatively high to maintain it. Alternatively you can spend a lot more for a professional to set up the site and then pay much less per year to maintain it. The third path is to upskill yourself and get the same low running costs but have to factor in the cost of spending time on how to setup/maintain a site -v- using that time to drive sales on your site etc.1 -

I use, and would highly recommend, Create.net (though am on an older cheaper package) for an ecommerce website - £16.99 a month for up to 250 products, though double that if you need more) - so not necessarily cheaper, but very user friendly and with excellent support from a small team (you're assigned a personal account manager). There's also an active and helpful Create users group on Facebook which you might like to look at to get an idea - lots of shared advice, etc - it's at https://www.facebook.com/groups/create.net tho' is a private group so you'd have to join (don't think you'd need to be Create user) to take a look... (sorry, have no idea what inkthreadable is!)
