Morning all
Nice day here so i have taken the throws off the sofa and put them on a wash I will hang them out after and they should dry well.
I went to work yesterday and started to feel rough again, its such hard work and I am doing the work of two people every day, the big boss asked how I was feeling and I said really rough so he said well take it easyhow is that possible with three autistic people to look after and lunches to cook for 25 and then a whole kitchen to clean ! so I cooked the lunches and then came home, ive phoned in sick today and I intend to have a day resting once the dogs have had their walk.
Got my chin done yesterday so I am now hair free (at least on my face) I am going tomorrow for legs and bikini waxwhich always hurts but has to be done.
Not sure about dinner but I will look in the freezer after this.
Have good days all and take care xxx11 -
Morning all! Not sunny! Boo... Ah well, I will endeavour to get in the holiday mood by wearing something skimpy when I shovel later on...Don't worry, by skimpy, I mean sleeveless..Met a couple of friends for coffee last night, upshot is, one has no kids next week, one has a day off, so we're going to a local golf club whose menu had us salivating, for lunch one day. Looking forward to that. A bit of a potter day, like Gers, I will be murdering, but around the house. I have lots to do but am finding it very difficult to get started on some things. It's like when I have a DIY project in mind, it takes me ages to get started and I watch loads of how to's, read lots of how to's before I start and when I eventually do start, I wonder why it took me so long....Going to attempt a declutter around the sewing table today, I need the top of it to trace the pattern [ yet another procrastination station] and as I'll be doing a tip run tomorrow, I can shove it all in the boot ready.Ruby, glad you're feeling a tiny bit better and yeah, looking after number 1 very important, that goes for you too Nels and Izzy and dp1. Scarlet, that sounds interesting, I had to google it, have a great time! Gers, will a hard prune not revive it? There was one at my old house that was over forty years old, very productive after a vicious pruning every now and then. I did appreciate your murdering too
camelot, I dug mine up and potted it, Fatsia buddies! Nanny, you can't be blamed for briefly alighting from the diet wagon, especially not when someone else requests a breakfast, it's the law
WL, enjoy your holiday, Stonehenge might not be so bad, there won't be any school parties being shown round it
Look after yourselves folks, because you're all L'Oreal...

Morning
Back home and glad of it. Try as I might I'm hating having to do mums house. I was due to stay till this morning but after 3 hours sleep on Tuesday night Weds I was a waste of time so ended up coming home early afternoon exhausted. The only thing I managed was to fill in the numerous forms in the solicitors asked for and got those in the post. Hopefully they will back off a bit now. I was clear that I could not rush this process but that seems to be lost in translation
Monday I'm back as the buyer wants to come round for another look. will try to stay a bit longer this time as it has to be done. Just wish I could turn my worry wort brain off for a while. Hopefully a reasonable sleep there would allow that to happen.
Moan over sorry!
So Im making the most of home for a few days. Today I have half a lasagne for dinner started last night (just a ready meal again sorry) but its easy.
Hugs to all especially Ruby....get well soon lovely.

Morning all (just). Well, we're back to dull with drizzle again, not especially cold, but it's the kind of weather that doesn't inspire activity. I hope it brightens up a bit this afternoon as I need to buy a birthday card for DD and get it in the post box. And I'll need some fresh veg for the weekend so may as well do that at the same time.
Today is a bit of a pottering day but I might take a leaf out of TA's book and clean the inside of the upstairs windows. I've already taken down and washed the nets that are now on the airer; they won't take long to dry. No point in doing the outside of the windows as we seem to be forecast some rain almost every day for the foreseeable.
Tea tonight is corned beef hash courtesy of the freezer and I might throw in some dumplings for a plate filler.
Happy holidays (or even just days out) for those with plans to get away. For those struggling with work, health, caring or whatever, I'm sending best wishes for better days. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.9 -
Wicked lady - enjoy your holiday
I've been to town and got everything I need and some Euros.
My hair is cut nice and short and I have some hair dye to cover up the white bits.
My eye test completely exhausted me....I need a new prescription for contact lens, as expected. There were so many questions and looking this way and that way, eyes up and down that after 50 minutes I said I'd had enough! So I need to go back after my holidays to sort out new glasses as well.
I went straight from the opticians for a breakfast and a cup of tea....which revived me a bit.
The rest of today will be very lazy x8 -
Bellabella - St. Fagans is my favorite place to visit also.5
