Thank you everyone. I have been looking at the Carron profile bath. Only issue is that I keep thinking that we need grips 🙄
I will give the Kaldewei one a look. I am a bath lover so want to get the right one
1700 x 750 so the B&Q bath is too small.
Thanks again.0 -

Thanks again.I was in my Kaldewei this morning. I'm knocking-on a bit at 73, but although I don't need the grips it's nice to have them, if only for a little parallel bars practice.Seriously, although it wasn't something we gave any thought to in our last bathroom installation, suddenly the extra bit of steadiness makes a world of difference.

we have had grips on the bath in our old house for 25 years, I would probably never get out of one without them now 😀😂1 -

Our new bath doesn't have grips on, but we've got Keuco handrails in our existing inherited shower room (being converted back to a bathroom) which will be repurposed with a single grip on the wall just above the bath.As a side issue, I'd really recommend having some decent quality handrails in your bathroom, even if you're young and fit. OH could not have had a shower last year when he bust his achilles without the handrails, and I cracked 2 vertabrae and my skull in a fall recently, again the handrails in the shower and next to the loo were invaluable. Accidents can happen to anybody at any time. The Keuco handrails are expensive, but they blend in with the chrome bathroom fittings so you don't notice them as being old folks adaptations.
