Urgent help unclear if payment taken Britania

Hi my partner used a Britania Car park in Bristol Centre(Harbour) today he used his bank card, yet had no proof of payment. He said his payment card went into the machine and a parking ticket number appeared which he copied and a three digit entry number no parking ticket and no receipt.
He could not locate anyone and also attempted to phone no one available and no online chat either. ( I have also tried this and it say till 4.30 but not available either.
To my dismay he did not take photo of machine as proof. Brit site says 48 hours to pay.
It a works car and he is worried. I have suggested he phone the bank to see if charge has gone through. They confirmed no charge taken.
I am in a panicking as he is on the road till Friday.
Can you tell me how to pay what option to click on going around the site with automated answer.

Pay it again as there are 48 hours to pay. Then ask for the duplicate payment back if it goes through twice - or ask your bank to reverse the second payment.
Use the SAME card so any double payment is easily highlighted. If Britannia then don't return the money - if paid twice - complain to the BPA.

Well I managed myself to do online chat and actually got response and they have added the car vehicle to an exemption list so no parking charge notice will be made. No further action required.
They are sending confirmation of the chat to me.
Plus as promised transcript of chat has come through.
But I did c & p to myself anyway.
Hope that is the end of it.
