On average you were using less then our place during that period.  Granted we were here and had the heat on.

You only used about £665 in gas between Nov and Feb according to your own readings?
    29773-28924 x 11.2 x 7p = £665?
Good point. So what are SP basing their £700 on?

I think you are working with April figures here. It should be more like 4p, not 7p.

    I would say so.

OP can you please upload copies of your energy bills after removing everything that can identify you?

Meter is m3, so a potential problem could be if ft3 is billed.

ok so according to SP we used £700 for 1 week in Jan....
Based on actual meter readings, or estimates?
Unless it is actual meter readings then you don't really know what period it covered...
They asked for a reading in Feb 22, when I contacted them about the high bill they went through it all and said that1 week in Jan it shot up, causing the £700 bill just for the gas

How can they know it went up £700 in one week in Jan when your own figures show you only spent £400 between Nov and Feb?
    28924 - 29773 Nov Feb?

What is the formula they are using to calculate the KWh for gas?

Certainly worth checking that they are not treating a metric meter as Imperial...

If it isn't a smart meter, and you didn't provide weekly reading how could they say that?  Unless they mean they applied the charges for gas used over a longer period?
