Good morning, thanks for starting Ruby, hope you're ok.It's a fine start here, seems to be a similar day to yesterday.I'm meeting a friend for coffee this morning, I haven't seen her since just after Christmas - they go abroad quite a lot during our winter.I'll probably see DD at some point today as well, as Dh will be taking dgd for her swimming lesson. There's nothing else planned today, apart from the usual jobs.Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.12

Morning Ruby, thanks for starting us off. It's a lovely morning, I hope that it stays like that. Yesterday gave us a gorgeous afternoon, blue skies with streaks of fluffy clouds. I posted a photo in the thread after I came back from Tarbert.Today I'm going to strip the bed, do a white wash and get it out on the whirly. Then I want to go back to Ben Cruachan, the Hollow Mountain, and hope to get a place on the wee tour right into the mountain to the astounding turbine room. Lying in bed this morning I just decided to go as it's been so long since my last visit and today's the day for a drive in the sunshine. 'Doing things, not buying things' this summer.Right, the bed won't strip itself so I'm off. I hope that everyone is doing OK. Happy Wednesday to all.12

Morning All
Glad you're feeling better Ruby, hope you get word of a scan soon.
Beautiful morning here but a bit chilly overnight, I may have to start closing the greenhouse at night. After the weekend's torrential rain it's been lovely here for the past few days.
I still have DS2 and his DP here but they are both working/studying so we're doing our own things during the day and eating together in the evenings. I had DS1's children here last week which was very busy and tiring but good fun. DS1 and his DP arrived on Saturday so there were 5 adults and two children here then another 3 for breakfast on Sunday. Hard work but great to all be together.
The garden has been tidied but I still need to clean the front driveway, apart from that most of the big summer jobs are done.
Off to meet DD and the little one this morning for brunch.
Thinking of you all, take care. XX13 -

Morning folks and thanks RUBY. It's good to hear you are feeling a bit better today.
We have a dry day forecast! Hallelujah! And some sun! Yesterday the promised mizzle was with us on and off all day. In between it was lovely and warm. A strange day. With nothing better to do I finally made a start on the neglected jobs list and cleaned all the upstairs windows inside! Still the downstairs ones to do when the mood strikes me!
GERS and BELLA I still have 2 boxes here from my DM's house and we lost her 20 years ago. One is full of all the plates she had on the delft racks all around her house and the other full of (part) wedding tea sets which were my mums and grandmas. And some random crockery from a great aunts house. If I don't do something with them soon my DD will be left with them along with all my clutter! DD did take some items when she had her obsession of doing afternoon teas but there is still a lot left.
Today is bus trip day and it promises to be a nice day for it. Only two of us today as our third bus buddy has an emergency op booked on her much loved doggy and will be on tenterhooks all day waiting for the outcome. I suppose we will end up in Skipton again being market day as it's always nice for a browse and slow amble round.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or just fed up. Take care one and all and be safe xx

Morning everyone
Looks set to be a lovely day here. This morning I'll go to the nearest shop for bread, milk and loo paper and then to mam and dads for a cuppa.
Then home for lunch and hopefully a read in the sunshine before I pick little one up from nursery - DD is at the hairdressers this afternoon.
I took lasagne out of the freezer so a nice easy tea later.
Gers - your photo is lovely
I'm going to move - I want to give the bathroom a clean then I'll put the washing in.
Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Morning all,
Yesterday was the first reasonable day when we had no rain so we had a picnic, but today it's blummin cold outside, only 7 degrees and a chilling wind.
Mr Fix It has his oncology injection and more bloods to be taken this morning at the surgery, he'll probably not feel so good after that, the injection is not very nice and the amount of blood they are taking he'll probably have an empty sleeve soon 😂 DGS is still asleep but DGD is up and had her breakfast. She gave me a fright last night as I woke to find her sitting bolt upright in the middle of the bed, mumbling. She was still asleep but I had to grab her when she nearly fell backwards off the side when trying to lie back down😱 Why is it all the females on my side of the family sleepwalk/talk ?
Not sure about today's happenings with the DGC, I expect I'll be the decoy again if we play Colditz or the only one not cheating if we play Cluedo ! Better than them playing on their phones/xbox though and we all seem to enjoy it. This afternoon we will take DGD for her horse riding lesson so Mr Fix It will drop us off and take DGS for a drink or something as it's too far to come home and wait.
TA hope your buddy's dog is ok.
Ruby glad you feel a bit better.
Hope everyone has a good day, hugs to anyone in need.
Take care all

Morning! Well, yesterdays anticipated camera did installation did not go to plan. The camera has stopped working so I emailed the manufacturer who said send it back and we'll test it, so far, great customer service Thinkware
I have to go and get it out and post it later today. Most jobs got done yesterday so todays jobs are move some stone, get in touch with the people with the clay tiles to arrange another collection, get stuff collated for the tip [ booked for Friday], and try and rig up some kind of privacy screen for the rear of the car [ bought a portable toilet thing in case of emergencies] . Go engineering brain, go!
When I saw my sister at the weekend, she told me in no uncertain terms not to go in the attic because if I did, I'd cry. She said it's stacked to the gunnels with boxes and bags and more boxes and bags. I took a quick look from below, I can see them right up to the entrance so we need to gird our loins for that job!Ruby, glad you're feeling better. Gers, enjoy your doingsHave a good day everyone, enjoy your families and friends!
