Oops Free Car Park Overstay

Well the missus overstayed by about 1 hour at a 2 hour free stay car park at a North East retail park She visited various stores with her friends but bought nothing apart from a cup of coffee (she did not keep her receipt)
The signs in the car park are very small and certainly do not meet current standards
i had a good look around the site today and the only sign that might meet the regs is one that the customer would not see as it is not in a part of the car park customers would go past as it is situated at the entrance to the employees only car park.
I have attached the photos and will wait and see what the postman brings in the next few days.
Dont know anything about the firm Savills but the sign at the employees car park states its Parking EYE

The first photo is taken as you enter the car park and the sign is on a pole at the right (just out of view)
I will look through the "newbies sticky" and act accordingly, but would like you guys opinion about the very small signs which dont seem to conform to the BPA regs

How do you prosecute an unauthorised vehicle?

Nothing to worry about in those signs.

Good luck with Savills prosecuting an unauthorised vehicle! 😄

But, if it's ParkingEye, they normally have all their ducks in a row. Is their NtK PoFA-compliant?  What about some photos of the PE signage - much more important than Savills' signage.

Savills are one of the best retail park managing agents for cancelling tickets. Try them.

As far as I can see on Google Street View, and the camera car went right through the car park, you have photographed the only parking sign visible in the public area of the Hylton Riverside Retail Park.

For May 2022, there is a notable absence of signs throughout the car park...

As you say, there is a ParkingEye sign - two signs in fact - to the side of the building.
However, those two signs don't appear to be offering any sort of contract to park - far from it...

Get your wife to gather proof from her friends of THEIR receipts, then appeal showing evidence that the group spent £xxx and will complain to Savills if it's not cancelled.
