Looking at the map it shows the ulez could increase to the limits of the lez. Seeing how the M25 comes within the lez sometimes will TFL try to impose the charges there as well?
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Looking at the map of the LEZ, the M25 is almost entirely outside it. There is one little exclave outside the M25, but they have cut a corridor through the LEZ for the M25 to pass through. https://lruc.content.tfl.gov.uk/low-emission-zone-map.pdf
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
TfL has no jurisdiction over the M25.1

Thanks. I assumed they would have because they run the Dart tunnel and bridge and knowing how they want as much money as possible they could have tried to impose it on the M25. Nice to know they can't.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

There is a consultation on the further expansion of the London ULEZ zone.
It closes 29th July

Thanks. I assumed they would have because they run the Dart tunnel and bridgeA firm called "emovis Tag UK" operates the Dart Charge service on behalf of National Highways and the Secretary of State for Transport. The revenue goes to central government coffers. As well as that, the Dartford Crossing is not part of the M25. Travelling southbound the motorway ends just past J30 (for the A13) and resumes at J2 (for the A2). The A282 joins the two ends, via the Dartford Crossing.
Other than that, spot on!4 -

The Dartford Crossing is wholly within Essex and Kent, nothing to do with TFL. They neither operate the crossing nor derive revenue from it.No free lunch, and no free laptop2 -
it's most likely going to happen and it will spread to manchester and birmingham and other major towns.Right now, it's not expensive to comply, I have a 2002 petrol car that complies, but if euro 7 comes out, we're all doomed - that's when they can require all diesels to be euro 7 and probably move petrol band up from euro 4 to euro 5/6.0
