Hi all

Contemplating to get either a Quantum Dimplex QM150 or a Creda TSRE 150

I know the Quantum is considered the best, but heard the newer Creda models are great competitors and more cheaper.
Was hoping someone has had either/both to help with my decision!

Thanks

They are both part of Glen Dimplex so some parts probably very similar internally. Creda themselves say that the Dimplex quantum is higher efficiency.
How much more & how that translates into running costs & therefore the point at which whole life costs become  cheaper, I don't know.

The Dimplex has a 10 year warranty and given the extra efficiency of the Dimplex, I think I would go for the most efficient model.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

I was thinking of getting the refurbished ones as they’re cheaper. Surely the 10 year warranty won’t be available? Still worth it?

Hello nabznab1, the difference between the two is one the design and two the Quantum has more controls the TSRE is standard lot20 and cant be connected to wifi. The Quantum has what Dimplex call an IQ controller which monitors the outside air temperature and weather and according to Dimplex reacts accordingly and intelligently taking a larger or smaller charge overnight depending. I don't own one so I cant comment further on how well this works, I hope that helps you make a decision!

Thank you that does help! Its just I’ve heard the Dimplex doesn’t offer so much for the price. Was interested to see if anyone had the TSRE.
