Our Maynards Bassetts' Giant Sweets land in the UK from August 1st 2022 so keep an eye out and enter the city, village or town where they are found below for another chance to win.

The Jelly Babies competition is open from 25/07/22 at 00:00 to 07/08/22 at 23.59.

The Wine Gums competition is open from 01/08/22 at 00:00 to 07/08/22 at 23:59.

You can enter both competitions and more than once.

Online Competition:

There will be two chances to win online by identifying the locations of the Giant Maynards Bassetts sweets.

There are 4 locations in the United Kingdom in total that you can identify. The two routes for winning are highlighted in the below stages.

 

Route 1 – The Jelly Baby Pot:  

 

• If an entrant correctly guesses the location given on the webpage using the clues in the images provided, they will be entered into a pool of finalists where a single winner will be selected via a random electronic draw at the end of the competition. The winner of this competition will be awarded £2000.

 

Route 2 – The Wine Gum Pot:

 

• If an entrant correctly guesses any of the other 3 locations in the United Kingdom where a Giant Maynards Bassetts’ Sweet is located, they will be entered into a separate pool of finalists and a single winner will be selected via a random electronic draw at the end of the competition. The winner of this competition will be awarded £2000. These locations are not highlighted via any clues given on the webpage. Entrants must locate the Giant Maynards Bassetts’ Sweet outwith the competition page.

 

Please note, participants can enter both draws and more than once. One person can be deemed winner of both prizes.

 

The online winners will be chosen by electronic random draw on after the close of the competition on 08/08/2022 (online entry period closes at 23:59 on 07/08/2022).

Yes I would say the answer to the online location is Leeds, as the clues are all locations in Leeds. Thank you for posting the Terms & Conditions, I cant seem to access them, when I click on them it just ticks the check box to state that I have accepted the terms and conditions.

i can see I spy then 5 boxes but cannot type anything in them. How do you enter this comp, I am confused. Thanks

Had the same problem , doesn’t show any writing I needed both Safari and Chrome

I had the same problem using a tablet. On my Mac I am using Firefox and this is what I see...

If you click in the box there is no indication of a cursor, but type anyway and your text should appear.

You just need to type the answer ion the big box  above the name  boxes - their message will disappear as you type.
