Hi guys ,
Im just wondering if I could pick your wonderful knowledgeable brains,
I brought a new American fridge freezer in feb 2019 and today it has packed up , freezer full of food defrosted and the fridge doesn’t seem to be cold, now what I’m wondering is it came with a 2 year manufacture warranty and this is obviously out , but do I have a chance of going back to the retailer asking for help as to be honest I’d expect a new fridge freezer to last longer than 3 years ?
do you guys have any advice you could give me regarding this ,
many thanks for your help 😊

Was it an expensive one?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Is the American fridge freezer built in between kitchen units
Common issue with American fridge freezers is that people fit kitchen units around them and they burn out after a few years because inadequate ventilation, even bigger issue during prolonged hot spell
If thats the case in this instance I'd check your appliance instructions with regards ventilation space requirements before complaining to retailer or manufacturer0 -

I should have also made a bit clearer in my original post that the warranty was 12 months then an additional 2 years parts and labor, so it ran out in February looks like I’ll have to bite the bullet and try and find the money for a new one0
