Flatbed scanners, rare as hens teeth?

Have a look of freecycle(etc) for someone throwing out an All in one where the printer has failed.

I have 2 waiting in my pile of stuff to go out.

I suspect except for high end scanning the market has moved to multifunction so little demand for the stanadalone.

What's the lowest resolution you will consider?

CPC say they will get the 400 in stock next month at £100

Also just checked the 400, Argos have that in stock at some stores
my nearest is 15 miles.

which bit of Scotland are you?

Argos have a 400 near Glasgow or Aberdeen or Inverness 

if a bit further south  Lanark Strathaven

I was looking at these just yesterday. I agree with others that the Cannon seems best value.

OP, can you tell me the difference between the 300 and the 400? I'll be using for photos and single documents, thanks

key feature will be the optical scan resolutions are different and the 400 is a tad quicker..

Thank you so much.

I checked mine again and although very old it's a 600F. It's not supported by Windows 10 but I have found instructions to install 7 which even I can have a go at. It'll be worth a try if I can find the leads.
