Low water pressure

Hello
We have recently moved into a property which is suffering from low water pressure (it fills about 8l per minute). We checked the outside tap and the pressure there was absolutely fine but not in the kitchen or the rest of the house.
UU have been out and send the pressure at the boundary is within their acceptable range.
Does the fact the outside tap is ok and kitchen tap is not indicate anything? The only other thing is there was a lot of sediment building up when we first moved in but this seems to have improved recently.

Its won’t be sediment, check your incoming main stop is on full. Turn it off then fully on, then back half a turn.
A thankyou is payment enough .

Well, this indicates that the problem is somewhere in the house pipework. What other taps did you check?  Is it mains water in the bath and basin or from a water tank in the loft?
And it's low flow in the first place, not the pressure. Static pressure can be high and, if pipes are blocked, drop when flow starts.

Check that the inline isolator valves are fully open if there are any.

It is the same with all of our taps and we have mains water.

The water pressure in my late parent's 1930s semi was so bad only one tap could be used at any one time, with the lower tap taking priority.

It used to take so long to fill the bath the water would be cold by the time it was deep enough.

Katy, what sort of boiler do you have? Do you have a hot water storage cylinder? If so, what type - vented or unvented?
Meanwhile, this outside tap - how many lpm come out of that?

If the outside tap works fine, there’s a blockage somewhere in the pipes. Most likely a valve not fully open. If you can’t find it yourself, you should get someone in.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I understand 8lpm is below the min - 9lpm? - that water boards are obliged to provide, but only at the supply meter, and only at ground floor level. If you get less than this by the time it reaches your house, then I guess that's for you to sort.

Anyhoo, Katy, we need more info
