Apologies if this question has already been asked but just wondering what you fellow EDF customers are doing...
Do you think it's worth fixing to their 2 year fixed rate? I'm really torn about it and not sure what to do.

I have gas only (ex-Zog customer) and went for the Jul24v3 fix. However, a big part of the decision was down to the £150 cashback, which would pay the exit fee if prices fall in 2023-4. I'm not sure if that's still available. I think, for gas anyway, I may well beat the SVR for the next year, but after that, who knows. Also, I decided not to move my electricity to them as I was less convinced about the value of the fixed electricity deal. If you are a dual fuel customer, I don't think fixing gas only is an option as they don't seem to allow two different tariffs (maybe you can if you phone up).

I fixed with EDF two months ago on the May24v4 tariff, effective from the end of my old fix, so it started 1 July this year.
Gas Units 9.692p Electricity Units 34.85
The latest fix available in my account today is July24, G 16.667p (+72%) E 52.75p (+51%) with the same standing charges.
That July24 fix is 127% above the current SV tariff for gas and 89% for electricity in my region, SW Scotland (just comparing unit rates only).
Looks like the EDF fixes are now bonkers along with many other suppliers.

I think you are coming a bit late to the party. Until middle of June there were some good deals (compared to the predicted SVT from October) available at EDF. After the increasing predictions for October everything has been withdrawn and replaced with very expensive new fixed tariffs.Castle_Rock said:Apologies if this question has already been asked but just wondering what you fellow EDF customers are doing...

So no, I doubt that it is worth it, but you will have to tell us what is offered to you first.1 -
I fixed at the end of August 2021 Mar24v5 and thought my deal ends next March! Got my years mixed up and thought next year is 2024!
Looked at my contract last night and realised Mar 2024 is 20 months away!
My tariff is
Electricity unit rate: 19.10p per kWh
Daily standing charge: 24.02p per day
Gas unit rate: 3.884p per kWh
Daily standing charge: 26.12p per day0 -
