Morning folks.
It's very dark, cool and rainy today. Much like yesterday. I'm glad I mowned the lawn before the weekend.
Yesterday I did all my collecting of orders and dropped off two bags at a CS at the same time. A bit of pottering in the house also took place but nothing of any consequence. 😀 Today may be the same. I have some TV programmes to watch and clear from my recorder though I'm not sure that they'll hold my attention for too long. For now I'm undecided still, a plan may form later. Meanwhile, it's time for a wake-up coffee.
I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Sunday to all.

Good morning, thanks for starting Gers. Its fine here , though it rained late last night. We arrived home yesterday after our little jaunt in the caravan, our first stop was in Merseyside for a family party which was great, we hadnt met up since before Covid ( that's life now isn't it, before Covid and since Covid)Then on to the Lakes for a few days, where we sizzled. We went into Bowness one day, but after visiting the Lake*and flagship store, we went back to the caravan. Everywhere was simply heaving, and the heat was too much, so we went back to the van, got some beer out of the fridge, and sat in the shade. The site was one we hadn't been to before, it was beautifully kept and a lovely location of course. We moved on to Northumberland, had 3 days there and left there yesterday. I'm working my way through the washing now.I haven't kept up to date with everyone's doings because on our last two sites it was sometimes hard to get a signal.Hope every one is ok, I'll catch up now I'm home.Take care folks.12

Morning folks and thanks GERS. No rain here yet although it is forecast for later. I hope it's a little bit heavier than the on/off mizzle we have been getting, it will save watering the pots.
Well I needed my tissue at the Choreography Competition yesterday! Youngest DGD won a silver medal in the Improvisation section and middle DGD was awarded the "shield" for pupil of the year and her outstanding services to the school. Proud grandma or what!
It was a bit of a debacle with my Tesco delivery last night. I had rearranged it for 7 - 8 pm, which is much later than I usually book a slot. I got a text telling me the driver was running late and it would be by 8.55 pm. I was already falling asleep! He finally arrived dead on 9 pm. Not the ideal time to be putting shopping away! I got everything except eggs! Not even a sub. It's hard to believe they didn't have any eggs of any description but there you go!
No plans for today and as it's fine I have no excuse for postponing the wilderness any longer so maybe today will be the day! Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or just fed up. Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Morning all looks like it will be a pleasant day we are off to get some summer clothes for DH he says he has no shorts or t-shirts
obviously he has been wearing jumpers and thick trousers during the hot spell ! I did suggest that we needed to go sooner rather than later as TK Max has their halloween stuff in already and when we go to Mexico in October we won't be able to find summer clothes be honest it would be easier if i just went on my own but hey ho. last night we met with friends from where we used to live at the micro pub then onto the Indian which was very nice and good to catch up.I spent yesterday sorting the junk room things that were here and things we brought from the old house so i have a bag for the charity shop
Right better get a shifty on Have a good day whatever you are up to xSlava Ukraini11 -

Hi everyone,
We are a plague house - Esben has chicken pox. Luckily we have all had it, Steve caught it off Laura when she was one and had a really bad dose of it. He's not too bad atm, just a few spots on his arms and legs but he's being a bit emotional.
Steve and I went to a hog roast last night with some friends but I suffered with heartburn early this morning, I've had that problem before with pork which is a pity because it was delicious. It was nice to catch up with people as well and outdoors so it was safer, 3 of the people in our 6 are immuno-suppressed.
Today I want to do some sewing, I've put Steve in charge of making dinner, cheesy chicken and broccoli bake.
Have a good day everyone.13 -

Morning all
I was awake before 6 this morninggoodness knows why but I lay in bed for a while and then decided I may as well get up, Ive put a load on to wash and thats nearly finished so I will hang it out after this.
OH picked up the shopping yesterday but no whole chickens available at all, I popped into Mr T for holiday bits and none in there either ! very strange, I ended up getting a spatchcocked one in Aldi as its the only one they had, we will bbq it later so it might be better for that anyway.
Picked up the holiday money yesterday and back in March my FIL gave me £100 for my birthday which I had saved, I changed that into euros too and I am going to spend it on a hand painted bowl in Greece, there is a shop we go to run by an older couple who make and paint bowls and plates they are beautiful and I have bought a couple before, I really hope they are still there and covid has not affected their business too much, so I am going to treat myself
Got everything we need now for holiday, just need to pack which I will do next weekend, I did all the toiletries yesterday and everything else is ready so wont take too long.
Have good Sundays all xxx13 -
Just had to send huge congratulations to TA and her talented DGDs. What great rewards for all those years of hard work, all done with strong support from mum and grandma. 👏❤️👏
Welcome back Scarlet, your days away sound lovely.Snoozer - what a shame for Esben, I hope he feels better soon. The weather here has deteriorated badly so definitely no going out anywhere. Last night we had lightning and thunder though it seemed fairly far away. I counted 14 seconds between the lightning flashes and thunder cracks.I've only made a coffee and faffed a bit with my hand luggage. It's far too soon to make it meaningful but I'm itching to do it. 😀 I've also finished reading a short story in an Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine dated 1979 which I found in my recent cupboard clear out.My day may not become more productive!12 -
TA We cross posted what a wonderful evening you must be so proud of the girls all that hard work is paying off xSlava Ukraini10
