Should non alcoholic wines, beers, stouts etc be treated as alcoholic drinks by supermarkets

One anomaly that amazes me is the generic drug market. Why do people still pay £5-10 for branded drugs when the generic version with exactly the same active ingredients costs pence.
PS. it is Tesco that says 'Every little helps'

The same is also true of allergy meds. If you pop into boots, Piriteze is £5.69 for 14, allacan is 99p for 14. I don't know if the PL number is the same, as weirdly I've never felt compelled to buy the Cetirizine in a fancy packet.
Edit: while searching if MSE did a similar article about allergy meds, I found one saying many are paying the full £9 and change for a prescription of stuff like Cetirizine, instead of paying less than a fiver for six months worth! https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2018/05/revealed-10000s-overpay-for-hayfever-meds-via-prescriptions/1 -
I've never quite got the taste of de-alcohol'd beer & wine; it sort of leaves me in a bit of a pickle when buying, as I cannot stand artificial sweeteners either, which means there are very few non-alcoholic drinks I would buy (pretty much Coke original, Fever Tree, Fentimans, and various imported ones I happen to find in local/speciality shops). That said, this thread may have prompted me to give them another go, so thanks for that!OTOH, I've just bought a sodastream, which may have broadened my horizons (thought their branded flavours are all a no-no for me too!).0

Can you not buy shandy anymore? We used to buy and drink the little bottles of French shandy when on holiday as kids (also when reached 12).We weren't allowed many but then my parents weren't/ aren't big drinkers.May you find your sister soon Helli.
