British Gas meter

I have been in my flat for nearly twenty years
I have never ever  used gas and  I get a yearly summary of  gas use (not a bill) from British Gas which is always  £0.00 and a standing charge amount probably £130 or so
I have a old  gas meter that's capped and I think it  was PAYG with a card, I have never used it.
I always laugh when I see the £0.00

Should I inform British Gas that I have never used it. Or are they going to hit me with six years standing charges

I also have a British Gas  PAYG (Fob) electric meter (not smart) which I do use.
