min effort for lump sum

a few years ago i had several accounts and saving account to go with them, but i had less money then, i gave up and shut all my accounts but 2 down when interest tanked and instead maxed my pesnion to what work matches, i keep seeing news from martin lewis suggesting you can now make money again, so without having to open loads of accounts, whats the best easy access one or 2 places to have 80k - 100k ? dont want to lock the money away as i rent and am looking to buy in 1 or 2 years, currently just waiting to see how the country ends up with food and electric prices.
