Broadly similar situation on the face of it. This is also a training package and as they tend not to change in content it's understandable that nobody wants to rewrite them to use more up to date software.

Just a quick update. We managed to get through all the systems and training packages eventually so it would seem that Flash wasn't required after all.It was the most long winded process I have ever seen for providing information to a company. To enter name and address details it was necessary to enter each field e.g. Title, First Name etc one at a time and click to confirm each field separately. Same again for details of Emergeny Contact and no option to simply click 'same address'. It took an eternity. One screen was only for NI number but required the country to be entered as well. On others screens the country had been pre-filled as 'United Kingdom' but was blank on this one. Assuming it wasn't required we simply entered the NI number but a red box appeared on the 'Country'. Everything we tried was rejected - United Kingdom, UK, England..... There was a drop down for an Alphabetical list but that required clicking each letter separately (what a surprise) but there was nothing there either.Buried deep in the documentation provided to help complete the forms was mention of an app for adding a photo to the system. When my family member got home they loaded that, and uploaded a photo with no problem. They then thought they would see if they could input their NI number as well. They could, and there was no requirement to enter a country!Biggest laugh though was a link to their 92 page staff manual which needed to be downloaded and then the box ticked to say it had been read and understood! The box has been ticked but other elements bypassed. The job offer letter said that any missed sections could be completed on the induction day, but that may result in a later finish time. I suspect it could end up being a very long day indeed. Hopefully the job will be worth it.Sorry, that went on a bit but at least I've got it out of my system.0

If you need to use flash animations on websites and are running mac os 10.14 or lower, Torch browser will give you the option of doing it.
Not sure how that runs on windows platforms though.
