Hi there

We're contemplating a week or more in Germany, particularly in the Black Forest in the next month or so.

I was looking at a hotel and it had something on it's website about bookings were for those who had essential travel only.  This was only visible on the actual hotel site, not on booking.com.  So I didn't know if it was just a lazy or inefficient German (assuming there is such a thing) not updating their own website or if it's something current that the travel websites are not bothering to mention.

Is there any other restrictions I need to be aware of if travelling from UK to France to Germany?  Possibly through Belgium/Netherlands.  Travel would be by car.  I am aware of the problems currently at Dover so may look to go by ferry from another port.

I suspect that they haven't updated their website. I have just been to Berlin (flying) and only had to show my passport, not even any proof of vaccination.

Also suspect it is just them not updating their website.  Might necessitate a telephone call to them to double check.
