Find out who will be doing the interviewing.
Yes, sleep your way to the top.

IF you fail. Do you spot the attitude problem right there?0 -

Why would you look at this as failure? Disappointment, yes; failure, no.0 -

My friend was in her first job for 9 years, always taking on extra responsibilities, going the extra mile, taking the initiative ... before she was even interviewed for another job where she was.
And she's not dippy. It's just the way it is.
There are others too you know. It's not all about you. Maybe 12 others are applying and have been there 1-6 years or more.
Experience comes with time... you can't speed it up - and to be considered having experience of something it would normally mean at least 1-2 years doing something.0 -

Alright, but I can't keep going on earning 400 quid a month as it goes no where. It hardly seems greedy to want to earn more.:beer:0 -
I beat an internal candidate at interview. He had been doing the job for a while, I had been unemployed for a while. Just goes to show that if you do your homework (ie research) and give a good interview it is possible.0

It's certainly the foundation; however you need to give careful thought to your general interview technique, specific examples of why you should be given the job, specific examples of things you've achieved. You've got to sell yourself without appearing creepy. You can't help it if someone turns up on the day who can offer more/better, but you can present yourself in the best way possible and use the experience you gain to do even better next time. One of these days you'll clinch it.0 -
