To celebrate us returning to our normal timetable, we're giving four customers the chance to win free return train travel between any two stations in Scotland for themselves and three other people.

It's been a challenging few months for both our customers and our staff as we deal with trade union disputes and having to run a reduced timetable. Now that we've been able to reintroduce our normal timetable, we're excited to be welcoming more customers back to the railway and getting you out and about this summer.

Terms and conditions

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

This giveaway is open to Scottish residents aged 18 years or over.

The prize includes free return rail travel for up to four people between any two stations in Scotland.

There are four prizes available to win.

Only one entry per email address is allowed.

The closing date for entries is 11:00 on Thursday 12 August 2022.

Winners will be notified by ScotRail shortly after the closing date to arrange redemption of prize.

Prize must be taken before 31 July 2023.

When redeeming the prize, winner must provide 21 days notice of trip to allow time to process rail tickets.

For each prize, the group of up to four people must take the journey together as only one ticket will be issued for the group, covering travel for up to four people.

Rail travel is valid between any two Scottish stations (excluding Lockerbie) only.

Standard Class rail travel only.

No persons, including their immediate families, connected with the administration of this competition and/or employed ScotRail Trains Limited are eligible to win.

The company reserve the right to withdraw the competition at any time.

In the event of cancellation of rail service, the company will not be held liable for any expenses incurred by the winner of the tickets.

Prizes are subject to availability, non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
