Claro Money app suspended

I received an email from Claro Money on Monday 15 July informing me that I need to withdraw all my money before 17th August as they are suspending their iOS app for new customers and requesting existing customers to take out their funds from the platform within the next 30 days.  They plan to launch a new web based platform early next year.  The 2% cash campaign will also be ending and all customers who participated will be paid their bonus in full if you enrolled in the campaign.  I was a little suspicious at first as I could find nothing about this on the app home page, Claro Money Facebook page, on any finance news website or doing a Google search.  I have had this confirmed via Claro chat on the app and feel secure in withdrawing my cash, but wondered if anyone else had been informed.  It doesn't seem to be mention on MSE or similar sites either.

Seems bizarre to go from app to web based. Most new fintechs are the other way around

Sounds like there is some form of disagreement between Apple and Claro.

I've had the same email. Not thrilled to be honest... my investments have gone down in value, I'd prefer to leave them invested and ride it out. Locking in a loss isn't great!
