Amazon on Firefox going black

I am using Firefox on Windows 10. When I type in Amazon.co.uk into the URL bar, the amazon site appears. However when I then make an entry in the search box and click to search, the whole window below the search box becomes black. I then tried this on Google Chrome and the search facility on amazon works fine.
Firefox always seems to be the latest version as it updates when I open it up.
Any thoughts on what is causing this and how I fix it?

Thanks
