Easy Jet flights - One person dropped out

We have return EasyJet flights booked with two people on the booking. One person has dropped out now. We are well passed the option to cancel and refund.
Insurance is not an option as the person simply can't go now
I have in mind that the cost of the flight is lost.
I did think about paying a fee to book a different flight a number of months ahead. I suspect I would have to do that for bought people though I suspect.
Any suggestions?

If one party has simply chosen not to travel, then there is no entitlement to any refund so the cost of the flight is lost. To find out whether or not EJ would permit a change to one ticket would require a call to EJ.

Thanks for the reply.
I was considering changing the flights to later in the year and accept a charge to do so and then rebook for the one person. New flights would probably have to be around £200 make it worth while.
Calling EJ is straight forward in present times? No long waits or call charges on an expensive number?0 -

Really depends. I had to call virgin the other day to book some flights, i had upgrade vouchers to use, and i was on hold for close to an hour, had to call them for something else the next day and was through in 5mins. The point im making is its hit and miss with any airlines at the mo regarding call timesLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right1 -

No idea on call wait times but I would expect them to be busy. Perhaps you could report back for benefit of others.2
