Will I still get £170 if application was before deadline but opening bank account has been delayed by bank due to demand ?

Check the T&Cs of the specific offer you're hoping to take advantage of. Typically, as long as you've applied for a current account before the offer is withdrawn/the deadline passes you'll be okay, as long as your application gets approved and you meet all the other conditions of the offer once its open.1

T&Cs aren't clear - don't want the account if I've missed deadline and then be ineligible for next offer !0

Can you link/post the full terms of the offer you're trying to take advantage of here? Only reason I ask is that there have been a few different HSBC offers on the go recently which have slightly different terms.sarabeth57 said:T&Cs aren't clear - don't want the account if I've missed deadline and then be ineligible for next offer !0 -
I am trying to locate a post from Martin re the HSBC £170 offer with an end-of-offer date about 11th or 19th May. That prompted me to open an account but still haven't received the money. I want to be sure of my facts before I contact HSBC. Can anyone help please?0

You should be able to find it in the archive of all the weekly emails: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/latesttip/toffeetommee said:I am trying to locate a post from Martin re the HSBC £170 offer with an end-of-offer date about 11th or 19th May. As ever, if you're looking for the facts, these are better obtained from the institution itself rather than third parties - unless it's a different one, the £170 offer is dated 9 May, so is unlikely to have finished so soon afterwards:toffeetommee said:I am trying to locate a post from Martin re the HSBC £170 offer with an end-of-offer date about 11th or 19th May. However, there was another £170 (£175 via MSE) offer that expired in April:
