Property Boundary Line

Tbh, other than having that gravel strip for drainage, it'll serve little purpose. I mean, to maintain that extension wall, guttering, whatevs, will still require you to access their property, which you are entitled to do.
But the main line in the sand will be determined by the position of the gate and the rest of the fence, so I'd suggest no flexibility on that.
It's such a stupid thing - there are so many threads on here where a fence has been moved slightly by a thoughtful and accommodating person, and the 'other' side then plants shrubs and stuff against it, and - soon after - claims it's theirs. On paper it's easy to dispel, but in reality can be hellish. I've lost count of the times it's then been said on here, "are you really fighting over 6"?". A foot? A metre?
Too bludy right. You have to stop the 'oles.
