TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Heineken Silver Presents Kiss Secret Sessions” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

 

 

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   Online at Latest Win Stories | Competitions Articles - KISS (planetradio.co.uk)   Online entry is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	There will be 1 x winner of the Competition.   All valid entries will be pooled. Due to the requirements of travel, a shortlist of 21 x finalists will be chosen by electronic random draw on Friday 5th August 2022.  The shortlist will be chosen from the persons who successfully answer the question correctly, have confirmed travel availability and submitted their details successfully on the competition entry form.   The location of the prize will be in London.   The exact dates of travel will be: Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th August 2022.   Entrants must confirm they are able to travel on the dates above at the point of entry by ticking the relevant box on the entry form. Entries that do not agree to this will be invalidated.   One winner will be chosen from the shortlisted finalists and called by a member of the production team to confirm they & their guest are able to travel on the dates specified. If the winner does not answer on the second attempt, another winner will be chosen from the shortlist. This will be repeated until a winner has been contacted successfully and confirmed they can accept the prize.   All remaining 20 x shortlisted finalists will receive a runner up prizes of 1 x case of 24 x Heineken Silver and will be notified of this prize via email and given 15 days to claim their prize. After 15 days have passed, if no contact has been made, the prize will become invalid and a new runner up will be selected by random electronic draw.
3. 4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry All entrants and their selected guests must have a valid UK passport that is in date and has at least 6 months validity before expiry from the date of exit from Ireland.  This is an EU regulation to enter by plane. Entrants travelling from Northern Ireland do not need to travel with a passport. Winners must be available to travel for a 2 night stay from Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th August  2022– as specified at entry point - no transfer of event will be available. If the winner is unable to attend the ‘Secret Session’ they have won tickets for, they must inform Bauer immediately and a new winner will be picked from the selection of correct entries. All runners up will need to provide valid ID to show that they are over 18 years old in order to receive their prize before delivery is sent. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider or Heineken UK employees are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition nor will anyone else at their address.. THE PRIZE	There will be 1 x winner of the competition and 20 x runners up   The winner will receive the following prize (the “Prize”) for 2 x people aged 18 or over:   Return standard class train travel within mainland UK to London (or return economy class flights from Belfast to London) Return private station/airport transfers in London Hotel Accommodation in London (4-star min rating) sharing a double occupancy room, with breakfast Dinner at Top Restaurant in London (Provided to the value of £200 incl. gratuity) Drinks at Top Bar in London (Provided to the value of £100 incl. gratuity) 2 x Tickets to The View from The Shard with a glass of Champagne per person at the top Travel and Attendance to the ‘Secret Session’ – location to be confirmed on notification of winning   Prize package for 2 adults includes: Return standard class train travel within mainland UK to London (or return economy class flights from Belfast to London); Return private station transfers in London (or return airport transfers if the winner is travelling from Belfast; 2 nights’ hotel accommodation in London (4-star min rating), based on sharing a double/twin room with daily breakfast; Dinner at a top restaurant in London (provided to the maximum value of £100 per person to cover food, drinks and service charge); Drinks at a top bar in London (provided to the maximum value of £50 per person to cover drinks and service charge) and 2 x Adult admission tickets to The View From The Shard with a glass of champagne per person at the top.     Standard class train travel from UK mainland stations only; Trains will be selected by Prize Provider and not all routings will be available; Should the winner be from Northern Ireland, flights and airport transfers will be provided instead of train and station transfers; Prize is available on set dates only from 9th to 11th August 2022; No other dates are available; Both winner and guest must be aged 18 or over; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into the hotel; Accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing a double/twin room; Hotel accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion; All prize elements are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; The prize excludes travel from the winner’s home address to their nearest train station, meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize; Dinner provided to the maximum value of £100 per person (£200 total) to cover food, drinks and any service charge; Bar tab provided to the maximum value of £50 per person (£100 total) to cover drinks and any service charge; Prize must be taken in accordance with any government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. 1.       DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 2.       INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

3.       MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.
• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

 

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
