AJ Bell Sipp value incorrect
hallmark

AJ Bell seem to be having tech issues. My SIPP is showing as thousands lower than it really is. If I drill down this is because lots of the ETFs in it have a current value way lower than they actually are. If I attempt to trade any of these it shows me the correct value.
Quite poor. If you use AJ Bell have a look & see if yours is in the same boat.

This has happened to me a few times in the past (in my ISA though).
I think it happens when the last reported trade was a ‘fat finger error’, for example an ETF that is trading at 10,000p per share (aka £100) might have had a trade processed manually missing off a few zeros. So a trade might be processed at 1,000p (£10). As a result, all the platforms (not just AJBell) will use that latest price as hence will look horribly wrong on your computer, which it is but it’s not an error/bug by AJBell or HL or whoever, but it’s the broker’s fault who keyed in the wrong trade price!
I hope that explains the situation. Fat finger errors do happen (and get rectified quickly), everyone makes mistakes after all

This appears to be a problem with the price feed used not only by YouInvest, but also Halifax/iWeb - see https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=35199 . YouInvest does show a banner warning everyone of this as soon as they log in.
Though I just logged in again, and now it looks correct.1 -
Lots of inaccuracies on AJ Bell lately. Most of the Morningstar linked charts and reports are also wrong.
