She can put all her money and assets into Battersea dogs home or give them to a new toy boy/mistress if she wishes. It's entirely her choice. She doesn't have to leave you anything.
Do you ask for her approval on any major spend please?
I've told my 3 sons they should expect nothing in my will as I'm slowly drinking all the loot.
