Jet2 travel insurance - any good?

We’ve just booked a holiday to the Canaries in October with Jet2.  Couldn’t book the insurance at same time as my husband has a couple of medical conditions to declare (we booked online out of hours so couldnt do that at the time).  The Jet2 insurance seems to look quite good (and my husbands conditions are on the list of those which will be covered if declared) but does anyone have any experience of it?  Our holiday is a very straightforward package 2 weeks all inclusive.  I see they advertise their policy has 5 star defaqto rating but you often see that sort of thing and then it isn’t always as good as advertised.   If anyone has any experiences of the policy, good or bad, I’d really appreciate hearing about it!

Defaqto ratings are based on product features and like hotel star ratings is perfectly possible to design a product to achieve a certain rating but still have poor service etc or be notably below other policies that were intentionally designed to a rating.

With medical conditions you could also give Staysure a try, we have used them for a few years and had to claim for a full loss of holiday to Vegas when my wife was diagnosed with skin cancer. they claims service was excellent which is the test of insurance and no problems renewing after the claim.
We have a worldwide inc USA 12 month policy and cost was £253 for us both.
